Color symbolism in the collection of Our Lady of Dawn by Jabbar Al-Kawaz. Selected examples

Abstract

In this research, we talk about the significance of color and its relationship to literature, because color is considered one of the most important aspects and elements that form the literary image due to its close connection with all areas of life and manifestations of the universe. In photography, color possesses expressive and symbolic energies, one of which sometimes outperforms the other, while in the poem it becomes a sound structure that is subject to the science of linguistics while retaining its expressive and symbolic energies in the painted painting.
Through the study, the researcher sought to reveal those symbolic clues and deep structures that accompany the use of color by the poet Jabbar Al-Kawaz, within the patterns implicit in the structure of the text. This is done through the following two research axes.
