This research aims to provide an explanation of the theory of error analysis, known as “Error Analysis”, which is one of the important branches of applied linguistics. This theory was inspired by ancient Arabic linguistic studies carried out by Arab scholars, as they had a role in Prominent in the development of this field, and helped greatly in enriching and advancing modern linguistic studies in the West. It is worth noting that the study of modern language in this context has followed an approach inspired by the methodology of ancient Arabic studies.
With the addition of more details and diversity, which added depth and richness to this field.
The method used in this research is the descriptive and analytical method, which requires mentioning the material or words and following them involuntarily in other sources. The research consisted of an introduction and preface, and two sections. The first section included the approach of Arab linguists in studying errors, while the second section included studying the causes of errors, and concluded. Research the results that the research reached and follow them with a list of sources and references.
